Lily's Imagination Garden

Lily had a garden, tiny and bright,
With flowers that opened in morning sunlight.
She planted some seeds in a neat little row,
Then wondered, “Oh, what will make them grow?”

She looked at the flowers, the soil, and the sun,And thought of some ways to make gardening fun.“The seeds need some sunlight, that much I can see,But this giant tree is blocking them—gee!”

Lily grabbed a shovel and dug a new bed,But then she looked up and shook her head.“The tree can’t be moved, so I’ll try something new.I’ll find a bright place where the sunshine shines through!”

She carried her seeds to a sunny spot,But soon she discovered the soil was too hot.“My seeds need some shade, but they need sunlight too.Hmm… what clever solution could I possibly do?”

She found an old umbrella, blue and wide,And placed it beside the garden with pride.“It gives them some shade when the sunshine is strong,And they’ll still get some light to help them grow long!”
