In a house not too big and not too small,
lived Kylo, a boy who dreamed of it all.
With stars in his eyes and a cape on his back,
he spread out his blueprints, a marvelous stack.

"Aurora," 

said Kylo, 

"let's fly to the Moon! 
We'll build a bright rocket and finish it soon! 

Aurora barked once, 

then raced through the room.
She knew an adventure was ready to bloom.

They gathered some pillows, 

old pans, and some string,
a bucket, a blanket, 

a bell that could ring.

"Some buttons!" said Kylo. "A window! Two chairs!
A flag with a star and some wings for the air!"

They taped and they painted. 

They measured and glued.
They stacked every box,

Then secured all the wood.

Aurora wore goggles and spun with delight.
Their rocket took shape as the sun dipped from sight.

Then Marissa, his mom, brought cookies to share.
"What is this marvelous thing over there?"

"A spaceship!" cried Kylo. 

"It's almost complete!
We just need a snack box and two cozy seats!"

His dad, Kristopher, 

came, tool kit in hand.
"A rocket?" he asked. 

"Let me look at your plan."

He tightened each bolt 

and checked every chair,
then fitted bright lights 

and a booster with care.

They added gold stars and bright stickers too.

They painted it red. 

They painted it blue.

"This part is mine, and that part is yours.
And this is the hatch with its two silver doors!"

Then Kylo stood tall with a thoughtful wide grin.
"We must name our spaceship before we begin!"

He thought for a moment, then shouted with cheer,
"Star Jumper! The grandest ship built this year!"
