There once was a boy named Joaquin.
Joaquin loved to imagine he was a pirate out on the
sea, searching for gold and where it might be.
"Arr mate I'm in search of me lost gold
and I shall find it before I get old," yelled Joaquin.
His brother Marcos would pretend to be a hungry
shark surrounding his ship,
but Pirate Joaquin knew not to take a dip.

Joaquin's sisters didn't pay much attention to their
silly ways,
Because watching TV and painting their toenails
is what the girls did on those days.

Joaquin loved animals especially fish,
But would mom grant him that wish?
So one day he decided to ask her to buy him some.
"Mom, you know how I love fish, right
And how I just can't get them out of my sight,"
Joaquin said.
"Yes, alright we can go to the pet store," mom said.
So Joaquin grabbed his jacket and rushed out the
door.

He spotted some fish he really liked.
Oh my, how he really was siked.
GOLDFISH, read the sign.
"GOLD.....fish made from real GOLD...
now they must be mine!" he said.
He wondered if anyone else had seen them too,
And was troubled to think what he could do.
He begged his mom to buy him a few,
"Anything, anything is what I would do,"
he said.

After a few days his room was full of goldfish and he
sure had a problem because they all could not fit,
"They must be kept a secret," said Joaquin, "but how
might I do it?"

One sunny day the neighbors where playing baseball
and one of them yelled, "Come out and play!"
But Joaquin was too busy admiring his GOLD-fish.
"WHAMM!" Oh no his bedroom window was hit by
the baseball and most of the goldfish were on the
floor, they wiggled and waggled some by the door.
He knew his secret would be no more.
