the life that the monkey had to live and how immoral it was. He thought to himself,
"How horrible would it be if I was that monkey and was forced to take these pills?"

from their families and given drugs so that they
appear happy. They even kill the animals! God
does not want us to do this! No one does!

and that their happy faces were just a disguise. The animals were so mistreated and he found
many different cases of animal abuse at zoos: some animals suffer from claustrophobia since their
shelters are too small, some are insufficiently fed and therefore die, and there was even one case in
which a giraffe was killed and fed to another animal because it wasn't "useful anymore"! The sailor
decided that he needed to make a change and put a stop to zoos by spreading the word!

He collected money to support suffering animals in danger and to spread the
word about the horrible effects of zoos. By starting his charity he was doing service
justice to his community.
