One day Princess Morgan and Princess Aunna
decided to go looking through the forest to find
as many animals as they can that teach them
about the beatitudes.

When they entered the forest, they first came across
a squirrel. Princess Morgan asked "Can you teach us
about one of the beatitudes?" "I would love to, I will
teach you about the first one. The first beatitude is
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven. This means that we should not
become attached to our possessions and we are
called to share whatever we have with others. I show
this when I share my nuts with my friends when they
don't have any or are in need." Morgan and Aunna
then said, "Thank you," and kept walking further into
the forest.

The princesses kept walking on and then they found a
beautiful butterfly. Aunna asked, "Could you teach us
about the second beatitude?" The butterfly responded,
"Sure, the second beatitude is Blessed are they
who mourn, for they will be comforted. This
means that we should comfort those who are
suffering. I show this to my friends when they are
down or in pain." Aunna said, "Thanks that really
helped me understand the second beatitude a lot
better." They then walked more into the forest.

Morgan then pointed to the eagle flying in the sky
and shouted, "Can you teach us the third beatitude
from the bible?" The eagle then came flying down
to come and talk to the princesses. The eagle then
said " The third beatitude is Blessed are the
meek, for they will inherit the land. This
means that we need to use are given talents from
God, do what is good, and showing love for
others. I myself show this when I build my nest for
my family to show and use the talent that God has
given me. Once the eagle finished they continued
their journey.

They kept on walking until they heard a high pitched
voice, "Could I teach you about a beatitude?" asked
the ant. Aunna responded, "Surely, I would love to
hear a beatitude from an ant. Would you be willing to
teach us the fourth beatitude?" The ant then said,
"Yes, the fourth beatitude is Blessed are they who
hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they
will be satisfied. This means that we should try to
do God's will and to put our trust in God. I live this
beatitude by trusting in God that nobody will smash
me and that I go and spread the good news about
Jesus and God.

After they got done speaking to the ant, they
came across a bumblebee. Morgan asked could
you teach us the fifth beatitude?" The bumblebee
then replied, "Indeed I will. The fifth beatitude is
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be
sown mercy. This means that we should show
compassion to everyone. I have shown this when
my friends have lost there beehives or when they
ran out of homey I helped them find some."
Morgan and Aunna then thanked the bee for
sharing the fifth beatitude with them and then they
carried on with their journey.
