protect his family. That man's name was Timothy.
Timothy was handsome, smart, and strong. When
he continued to fight, Athens realized how good a
warrior he was, so they made him a general of
6,000 men.

One day his spies came back to him, and said that
Persians were going to attack Athens with 180,000
men. Timothy quickly gathered all his men and
marched towards Thermopylae, a narrow
mountainous path. When they arrived, they were
ambushed by the Persian army. To save his men
the general told all but 300 men, to retreat. All his
men died, and in order to survive he hid in a pile of
dead bodies until they left. When Timothy arrived,
Athens was destroyed and his son lay dead on the
floor of his house.

After Timothy stopped grieving for the loss of
his son, Zeus came to him in a dream and told
him that Timothy's wife was still alive. She was
taken by Helios, the sun god. When Timothy
woke, he went to Helios' sun palace, disguised
as Apollo, the god of light. When he went
inside, he saw his wife trapped in a cage. He
ran to her and let her out of the cage, but
Helios saw him free her. Helios quickly grabbed
the woman and threw her off the sun. She was
dead.

Timothy was filled with rage and angrily asked why
he had caused his family so much pain. Helios said
that in the battle of Thermopylae Timothy had killed
Helios's son. Helios's son was a Persian soldier.
Timothy and Helios decided to fight each other to
the death. The winner would become a God with
the power to bring people back to life.
