There once was a zebra who lost his stripes.

He had no idea where they went!

He pancaked and cried in fright.

Has anyone seen my beloved stripes?

You see, zebra stripes smell like Gooberries!

Juicy gooberries indeed!

Surely a zoo friend had smelled his stripes.

So he asked around looking for leads.

The zebra went to the monkeys.

The monkeys were dancing,

They were acting quite funky,

and joyfully prancing.

They searched high and low,

in the trees and with bees.

Not even a smell or a glow at all,

it simply could not be.

So the zebra kept on looking.

He came to two tigers walking,

they looked under cars, and under the stars,

but no striped could be found in their stalking.

So the zebra continued to search,

from the ground to the highest perch.

The zebra went to the giraffes.

They looked up over the trees,

but they couldn't even see any stripes at all,

even looking under the sea.

so the zebra was getting worried.

He thought he'd never see stripes again.

So he looked even harder and hurried so fast, 

just looking for even ten.

He asked the hyena and a jackal.

They could not find his stripes anywhere.

The zebra felt like he was in shackles,

he knew they had to be somewhere.

The zebra was very sad and forlorn,

he was about to give up.

Then he asked for help from a new friend.

So he went to the fish and said, "Sup?"
