There he was. Jacob awoke on an island made 

of yellow stone. He looked at his arms. They 

were rectangles. He was wearing some sort of 

blue armor – hard, yet light. He saw black 

figures with short bodies, yet very long limbs 

with glowing purple eyes. There were pillars of 

obsidian with glowing squares on top of them. 

There was only pitch black where the sky 

should be. An enormous dragon came toward 

him. 

And then...he woke up. His dog Charlie was 

jumping on him. "Okay, okay, boy, let's go 

outside," he said. He wondered in the back of 

his head, though. Could his dream mean 

anything? Or did he have too much root beer 

last night?

After a light breakfast and a dog walk, he went to 

play Minecraft. He was on the multiplayer when he 

saw a server that had never been there before, 

"The Universe Server." He clicked it. Suddenly, he 

was grabbed by beams of energy that burst out of 

the computer! They pulled him into the computer 

screen of his Mac and into the world of the 

Universe Server he had joined...and then he 

disappeared. He was on his face in the green, 

pixelated grass. "How could...why would..what" 

he said. "I gotta figure out how to get back."

Suddenly, he saw a guy with a squid skin and a girl with 

a Nether Queen skin. Their name tags read 

SquidLover1987 and J.B._Fab_12.They looked at him, 

and SquidLover1987 said, "C'mon, I think we may have 

found something." 

"Who the heck are you?" he asked, "and what in the 

name of Notch do you want?"

"My name is Alex Ruth. This is Samantha Schmidt. And 

we are here for the same reason you are. There are 9 of 

us who were all brought here. We found a stage that has 

a sign that says "TAKE A SEAT" and a countdown on it. 

Maybe something will happen when it goes to zero."
