Rae the Rabbit and a 

Raccoon named Roo,

Were the very best friends, 

it really is true. 

These friends made big plans to go to the Zoo.

Where they met new friends, not one but two!

A giraffe named Gem with a monkey named Tim.

All four together, they went for a swim. 

In the cold clear water of the nearby creek. 

Rae went under water to take a little peak. 

Under the water she saw with great shock.

A tiny bottle hitting the bottom with a knock.

She grabbed it right up to show her new friends.

When out swam a fish right out of the end. 

They all began to laugh at the little guy inside.

Then decided to play a game, Roo said, “Let’s hide!” 

And just like that a new game of hide and seek had 

begun.

They all ran and hid under the hot summer sun. 

Gem was the first to count and seek.

But first Tim yelled, “Remember, don’t peak!”

Gem counted to 20 and yelled “Here I come!”

She paced the whole lot, going to and then from.

She looked in the trees and bushes too.

When from behind a stump came a loud “ACHEW!”

Gem quickly ran behind the stump to see.

Tim with a Kleenex who said “Bless me.”
