Once upon a time there lived a happy King
and Queen. They were beloved by all of their
subjects. They ruled a strong and kind
kingdom. They had everything the could ever
wish for but a child. When the Queen became
pregnant the whole kingdom was excited. As
the Queen's pregnancy continued she got
weaker and weaker. One winter's night the
Queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and
she named her Snow White. The Queen never
fully recovered and on Snow White's fifth
birthday the Queen died.

The once happy and strong kingdom became
overwhelmed by grief. The land became a sad
and dark place, until one day a lost maiden,
named Grimhilde, knocked on the castle
doors. The when the king came to see who
was at his door he saw the beautiful maiden
and fell in love. The Kingdom rejoiced once
more and little ten year old Snow was happy.
When the King asked for Grimhilde's hand in
marriage she said yes, the whole kingdoms
was overjoyed. Snow was happy to have a
stepmother.

The whole kingdom came to the wedding and
Snow was there flower girl. The King also had
Grimhilde's coronation. She became known
now as Queen Grimhilde but she didn't get the
Queen's crown. Queen Grimhilde was upset
that she only got a Royal crown not the
Queen's crown. When she asked the King for
the Queen's crown he said "My dear
Grimhilde, though I love you the crown will
next go to Snow White my heir." The Queen
was furious she was not going to be made heir
to the throne.

The Queen Grimhilde soon found out that
though she may be Queen, Snow White was
more respected than her. Queen Grimhilde
was so sad and mad. She wanted to be the
person the Kingdom and the King loved the
most but it was Snow. She felt like her the
King didn't lover her and he only loved Snow.
Queen Grimhilde became jealous of Snow and
furious with the king. She decided she would
get that crown no matter what and so she
made a terrible decision to use dark magic.

Queen Grimhilde knew were she needed to go
to get dark magic, her sisters house. She
never quite got along with her sister growing
up. Her Mother, Gothel, always pushed them
towards dark magic. Grimhilde didn't like dark
magic but Maleficent on the other hand loved
dark magic. Maleficent became her mothers
favorite and Grimhilde was second best.
Grimhilde always avoided her sister because
she thought Maleficent was stuck up and rude,
but now she goes to the dark forest to seek
her help.

Queen Grimhilde was worried at first that
Maleficent would not help her, and she was
right to worry. Maleficent wasn't going to help
her until she saw her crown. "Grimhilde, are
you Queen now?" Maleficent asked. "Yes, but I
am not treated like one, I can't even wear the
Queen's crown" Grimhilde said sadly.
Maleficent agreed to help her under one
condition "I want you to put a curse on me so
I can turn into a dragon if I wish to."
Grimhilde thought the request was strange
but agreed. Maleficent used a spell to bring
out Grimhilde inner magic and so Grimhilde
changed.

Queen Grimhilde now had all of the magic she
needed but before she acted she wanted to
know is she was the fairest in the kingdom so
Maleficent gave her a magic mirror. Queen
Grimhilde asked the mirror, "Mirror, mirror on
the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"
Grimhilde did not like the response. "Snow
White is the fairest of them all my Queen"
said the mirror. Queen Grimhilde was furious
her worst fears were true, Snow White was
better than her. The Queen hatched a plan to
take over the kingdom and become the fairest
of them all.

That night Queen Grimhilde poisoned the King
and the next morning took over as Queen.
She then locked Snow White in the dungeon.
The kingdom was angry, but the Queen's
magic was so powerful there was nothing the
people could do. She put heavy taxes on
people who defied her, pushing most of the
kingdom into poverty as she became richer.
As the years went by Queen Grimhilde was
given the nick name Evil Queen and it stuck.
She liked the name and how it put fear into
her subjects.

The Evil Queen forgot all about Snow White
who was locked away in the dungeon. Snow
got a small meal each day and with only a
candle for warmth she was always cold and
hungry. The little food she did have she
shared with a small bird who would perch on
her window and sing. Snow would spend long
hours remembering how things were when her
father was still alive. These memories gave
her hope that things would get better.

Snow White was thinking about her friends,
well one mostly. He was a prince from another
kingdom. He visited often and he would play
with Snow. Snow had strong feelings for the
Prince but she never got to tell him. Snow did
not know, but her Prince right now was
working on getting her out of the Evil Queen's
kingdom where Snow would be safe. On
Snow's eighteenth birthday the Prince planned
on breaking her out, but he didn't know the
Evil Queen had plans.

The night before Snow White's eighteenth
birthday the Evil Queen payed her a visit. She
decided that Snow was aloud to live in the
castle if she obeyed the Queen's wishes. Snow
knew that since she turned eighteen she had
the right to take the throne as queen. The Evil
Queen was not going to let Snow take the
throne but she did not want to have to get rid
of Snow. She decided that if Snow was good
and obeying she could stay, but if she became
an issue than Snow would have to go.

The Evil Queen showed Snow the new updates
she made to the castle. She had a new master
bed room and gave Snow the old one that
belonged to her father. The Queen's new
bedroom was dark, with black and gold
furniture. Snow was wondering how the
Queen got the money to update the castle but
was afraid to ask. Snow was restricted to
where she could go in the castle and what she
could do. She did learn much about the
Queen's evil actions from the staff and new
she wasn't really safe there so she ran away.

Snow ran and ran until she was too tired to
carry on. She then saw a small cottage with a
small door and decided to take refuge there.
She knocked on the door but no one was
home, so she went inside. It was dirty and
abandoned looking so she cleaned it up with
some help from her animal friends and
decided to take a nap. Snow didn't know that
seven dwarfs live in the cottage and they
were on there way back from mining right
now.

When the seven dwarfs got back they were
surprised to see the princess in there house.
"Look Doc, there's a girl sleeping on your bed
... Ah Choo" said Sneezy. "Bless you" said
Happy. "Um, where's Sleepy" asked Bashful.
"Who cares" grumbled Grumpy. Dopey pointed
to Sleepy's lower bunk bed and he was fast
asleep. "This is not just any girl, this is
Princess Snow White" said Doc. "I'm awake,
what did I miss" mumbled Sleepy. "Well,
there is a princess sleeping in Doc's bed"
yelled Grumpy startling Snow awake.
