Bonjour! My name is Pierre. I live in Montréal which 

is part of Canada. I have a pet mouse named Mario. 

He is my best friend. We hang out all the time.

I woke up one morning but couldn't find Mario. He 

wasn't in his bed or mine. I decided to look around 

the house. Maybe he was hiding from me.

I went to look in the kitchen. 

Maybe Mario was enjoying his 

morning coffee. But Mario 

wasn't there.

I walked over to the living room 

hoping to find him. I looked under the 

couch but still no mouse. Wherever 

could he be? 

It looked like I was going to have to check every house in the 

neighbourhood for Mario. The poor little mouse must feel so 

scared and lonely being outside.  

Montréal is a big city. He could be anywhere. Maybe he 

was at the Disco dancing the night away? For a mouse, 

he was a fantastic dancer.

Perhaps he had gone to a cafe on Rue Sainte -

Catharine. He liked to visit with his friend Jacques 

and listen to live music.
