This is Theo. He is my cat. This is his story.
I was a born on a horse ranch in El Dorado
County. My mom had a bunch of other kittens.
My daddy looks a lot like me but five times
bigger! My daddy taught me to catch mice
when I was just a few weeks old.

One day these people adopted me. I was super
curious about their home. Their house smelled
like another cat had once been there, but I got
used to it. The people were Lisa, Greg, Ryan,
and Brendan. Greg would let me outside every
morning. Lisa would hug me to death.
Brendan and Ryan were cool.

I like to sleep on my favorite blankie on Greg
and Lisa’s bed. I need my blankie folded just
right, all cushy. If anyone messes up my
blankie, I bite them in their toes in the middle
of the night.

I appreciate the cat village Ryan made me with
his tent. He put inside my favorite red blanket
and a weird purple sleeping bag. Who wants a
bag that just sleeps? I would rather tear it up
and chase it around. He also put in water and
food. It was nice and cozy!

I also have a big enemy. His name is Yellow
Kangaroo. He wears red punching gloves.
Brendan and Ryan push him towards me, and
then I pounce! I scratch him and bite him in the
neck until he falls dead. Then I throw him up in
the air and pounce again! I do this over and
over until I get tired or bored.

I disapprove of my kitty litter. It is right out in
the open in the laundry room. Privacy, people!
Second, it is too small for my needs. Who
wants their tail to fall in their toilet? Instead, I
insist on going outside for my potty needs. I
prefer to use Ryan’s sandbox or Greg’s garden.
I am merely fertilizing the tomatoes!
