Twas the Night Before Christmas 2013

Mommy and Daddy were playing with Zetta in between.

Baby Violet was coming in just a few weeks.

But tonight was a night to get plenty of sleep.

Tomorrow was Christmas, the most special of days.

It was Jesus, our Lord and Savior's birthday.

The Stockings were hung, the Christmas lights gleaming

While the family gathered to praise Jesus at Flipside singing.

After celebration service, the family of three

Went home to relax beside the Christmas Tree.

Christmas morning came and presents were under the tree

Waiting to be unwrapped by an excited Zetta Leigh.

After opening the gifts and eating breakfast plums

It was time to go to Nonny and Poppy's for more Christmas 

fun!

With Mommy in her kerchief and Daddy in his cap

They all came to spend the evening at Nonny and Poppy's flat.

The smell of Honey-Baked ham filled their house;

The excitement of the day made Zetta squeal like a mouse.
