dear diary,

                    From today a new year is starting 

and I'm pretty happy about that. Yesterday's 

royal ball was really nice and I danced with 

prince Carlo. We became friends and he is the 

same age as me [11 years]. So today he's 

coming over for tea with the king and queen.

Tuesday, 1st   Jan, 8:30 pm

Dear diary,

                      Now I'm pretty much scared for the 

thing that I did. Today when prince Carlo came we 

asked whether we could go and play in the woods 

and our parents let us to go to the woods. We were 

very happy to play in the woods with the animals 

and birds. Then I caught sight of a tree burning, so 

prince Carlo said that we could go and check what's 

in there.   When we went there I did a very big 

mistake by pushing prince Carlo into the fire. He got 

his hands burned because of me. I ran back to the 

palace to get help. When I finally got mrs. Lisa to 

help. She imediately gave first aid to prince Carlo 

after rescuing him.

Mrs Lisa then told that she was gonna tell this to 

mom and dad as well as prince Carlo's mom and dad. 

Since I didn't tell   Mrs Lisa that it was me who had 

pushed prince Carlo unknowingly into the fire she 

just told mom and dad that prince Carlo's hand was 

burnt during a fire accident. When mom, dad, king 

Christopher and queen Carolina came inside to see 

prince Carlo I was very scared that I started to tell 

the whole story with tears in my eyes. After finishing 

the story when I looked at the adults they were all 

smiling. I was surprised. That was when mom told 

me that they had aldready seen that from the palace 

window. She also told that they just wanted to test 

my honesty and see whether I tell them the truth.

Of course, I had to apologize to prince Carlo 

but it was way better than any punishment. 

So we always tell that New year is a chance 

for being at our best and don't forget friends 

that a new year resolution always makes you 

a little more good....    :]
