Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Kno
Bahdee. She lived in a land far, far away; many
days across the sea.

Over time, life in their land became hard.
Jobs were were discriminated and food was very
infrequent. So, Kno Bahdee's Mama and Papa packed up
their little things and the whole family and journeyed to
a beautiful land called America, in search of a better
life. Life was so hard that there was not even a drop of
water enough for the animals to slurp.

You see...Kno had three very special rag dolls that she
treasured with all her heart, fashioned and named after her
three cousins-the Ting family: Evry, Enya, and Kix.
So,everywhere that Kno went, her dollies were sure to come
too just in a little red cart. She took it everywhere in the
hills, to the market for food, to the fish store, and their
beloved grandfather Papa Lashi's house.

One day, while walking her dollies in a cart she ventured upon a young
neighbor girl playing in her front yard. Kno excitedly stopped and
introduced herself hopefully trying to make a friend, supporting her
kindness with a flashy grin. The girl looked up rather confused to know
that somebody was talking to her.

"Hello, I am Kno Bahdee".
The neighbor girl appeared confused, half smiled and replied,
"That can't be! You have to be somebody!"

Kno, excited to find a girl friend of a similar age, eagerly
pulled out her first ragged doll. While cuddling her close
to her, she lovingly introduced her to Mary Alice. "She is
Evry Ting".

Mary Alice, seeing Kno's ragged clothes, smiled and nodded in
approval, " I can see she must be everything. Wow what beautiful
clothing. Did you get her from the market? Wow. She is crafted so
nicely. How much did she cost?"

Kno quickly surmised she had somehow upset Mary Alice and tried to
make amends with the girl by promptly pulling out her third dolly;
"Maybe then you know Kix Ting?"
Mary Alice began to cry and ran into her house, slamming the door
behind her. Kno looked down rather frustrated with herself.

Kno, unaware of what she had done to upset the girl,
sadly packed up her dollies in the wagon and pulled them
down the sidewalk.

While turning the corner, one of her dollies accidentally
fell out of the wagon, onto the sidewalk.
"Oh No!" yelled Kno.

Suddenly, from behind,a loud scream startled Kno.
Kno spun around and watched a young boy on a bicycle swerve
to miss her dolly and crash into the neighboring lawn in a
heap.
" What is that?"

Kno ran to his aid. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
"No, I'm not ok!" answered the angry boy, rubbing his
skinned knee.
The boy pointed to the dolly laying on the sidewalk
and furiously asked, "Does that 'thing' belong to you?"

Kno,believing she heard him use the name,"Ting",supposed
the boy to be familiar with her fabled dolly and excitingly
answered, "Yes! It is Every Ting!"
The boy became very angry and shouted; "Nothing?!
Nothing?! Can't you see I am hurting? Do you know
anything?"

Kno became overjoyed upon hearing the boy's name, and
sporting a big smile, she excitedly stuck out her hand.
"So glad to meet you, Hurr Ting! I am Kno Bahdee."
Dumbfounded, the boy hopped on his bike and hastily
replied,"You can say that again..."

Turning the next corner, Kno came upon an elderly
woman, spilling her groceries, while unloading her car
in a haist.
Kno, reared by her family to always be considerate
and helpful to elders, swiftly ran to her aid and
retrieved the food.

The elderly woman, seeing that the girl wore no shoes,
believed she was stealing them and gruffly yelled out,
"Hey, those are mine! Give them back to me you dumb
child!"

The woman begrudgingly accepted them, while frantically
searching for her car keys and complained out loud,
"Seems I can't remember anything...everything seems so
difficult!"
