The Fredrick family who lived right across the street from Anna had a 22 acre farm full of horses. About ten pastures and around 40 stalls for all of their horses. For years the Fredrick family had been keeping watch on Dad's paint horse Oreo. When Oreo was a young horse he was used in many horse shows and won thousands of dollars for Anna's family. He was also beautiful. He was named Oreo because he was a paint horse and had Black and White patches all over him,

One day Anna and her family went searching for Oreo. They look at all of the pastures and each horse was never Oreo.

"We are going to have to get into the barn." concluded Dad.

"But how? This barn has security systems everywhere and besides grooms are always out somewhere." said Anna sadly.

"Then we will have to make a plan. Call your friends Angela and Christina." So Anna called both of her friends ready to rescue Oreo.

Everyone met right outside of the barn.

"What is the plan Dad?" asked Anna excitedly.

"Ok so I want you and Angela to go to the front door and start talking to the Fredricks. Get them distracted. Then say that you and your friends are making a document on horses and found that her barn was perfect for it. I will text you when I have the trailer hooked up. We know that they will be delighted. Then you two will slip into the barn and look for Oreo. Once you find him take him out of his stall. If you get caught say this was part of the document. You wanted to show parts of the horse or something like that. Get creative." Dad said as he strummed his fingers on his leg.

So Anna and Angela made there way slowly to the steps of the house.

They knocked and Mrs.Fredricks opened the door.

"Hello darlings. What can I do for you?"

"Hi Ma'am. So we are doing a report for school on horses and because how your farm is, we would love to do it here. Would that be all right? We would only use the barn and the fields." said Angela and Anna sweetly.

"Oh yes!! That would be wonderful. I am so happy that you two young ladies chose our barn." she smiled. "Take your time." then she closed the door. Anna texted her dad doing the thumbs up emoji.
