Aa is for Africa.

Africa is a big continent with many countries.

Bb is for Botswana.

Botswana is a country in Africa.

Cc is for Chad.

Chad is a country in Africa with tall

mountains.

Dd is for Djibouti.

Djibouti is very hot. Women wear clothes to protect them from the sun.

Ee is for Ethiopia.

Ethiopia is a big city with many

people living in it.

Ff is for Fennec Fox.

The Fennec Fox is the smallest fox there is! His big ears help him listen for bugs in the ground!

Gg is for Ghana.

Ghana is a country in Africa with beautiful beaches and gazelles.

Hh is for Huts.

A hut is a type of house the people of Africa live in. It can be made out of mud, branches, or leaves!

Ii is for Impala.

Impalas are graceful African animals.

Only the males have horns!

Jj is for Jackal.

A jackal is an African animal who is

also a relative of the wolf!

Kk is for Kenya.

Kenya is a country in Africa

that has both a big city and

lots of open space.

Ll is for Lion.

The lion is the king of the jungle.

The males have long, hair manes but the females do not!

Mm is for Mali.

Mali is one of the biggest countries in Africa.

Nn is for Nigeria.

Nigeria is a country in Africa with

splashing waterfalls and monkeys!

Oo is for Ostrich.

An ostrich is a large bird that

lives on Africa's plains and cannot fly!

Pp is for Plains.

Plains are flat areas of land

all over Africa, where animals roam.
