1) 3 Cups flour
2) 6 Tablespoons sugar
3) 1/4 teaspoon salt
4) 2 Tablespoons baking powder

6) 1/3 cup canola oil
7) 1 cup of milk
8) Chocolate chips

3 cups flour
6 Tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons baking powder
3 eggs
1/3 cup canola oil
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cup Chocolate chips

2 medium sized bowls
Whisk
Wooden spoon
Large, flat pan

Instructions
1) Mix together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, & baking powder) in a medium bowl with the wooden spoon.
2) Whisk together wet ingredients (eggs, canola oil, & milk) in the other bowl.
3) Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and use the whisk to combine until the ingredients are fully mixed.
4) Have an adult help you with these next steps: heat a large pan over medium heat on the stove.
5) Scoop about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto pan and cook until bubbles form.
6) Flip pancake, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and keep over heat until the batter is fully cooked.

Rosie the Elephant's Mac n' Cheese Bites

Ingredients
1/2 pound elbow macaroni
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 egg, beaten

2 mini muffin tins
Large pot
Medium sized pan
Whisk
Wooden spoon
Large mixing bowl

Instructions
1) Ask an adult to preheat an oven to 400 degrees (you should also have an adult help you with the stove top cooking potions of this recipe).
2) Coat mini muffin tins with cooking spray.
3) Cook pasta according to the directions on the box.
4) Combine butter and flour in a medium sized pan on medium heat. Whisk until butter melts and completely combines into a smooth mixture with the flour.
5) Slowly add milk to the mixture and bring mixture to a simmer.
6) Add 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir mixture until evenly combined. Remove the mixture from the stove.
7) Stir together pasta, cheese mixture, and beaten egg in a large bowl.
8) Fill each muffin tin with macaroni and add a pinch of cheese on top.
9) Bake for 15 minutes, the tops of the macaroni bites should become golden brown.

Garon's Giraffe Apple Pie Bites
Fun fact: Giraffes' long necks let them reach high into the trees to get food that other animals can't!

Measuring cups & spoons, 2 small bowls, knife, baking sheet, parchment paper, cutting board
Ingredients
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 granny smith apple, cored & sliced (have a parent help you with this step)
1 8 ounce can crescent rolls

Instructions
1) Ask a parent to preheat your oven to 375 degrees and slice the apple.
2) Mix together brown sugar and apple spice in a small bowl.
3) Melt butter in another small bowl. After melting, add apple slices to butter. Cover the apple slices with the butter.
4) Unroll crescent rolls. Spread brown sugar mixture onto each crescent roll. Make sure each roll has the same amount of sugar!
5) Put an apple slice on the biggest part of the crescent roll and roll up the apple in the dough.
6) Top each rolled-up crescent with butter and then a little apple pie spice.
7) Bake for 10-12 minutes. The apple pie bites will be golden bown.
8) Let cool!

Charlie the Crocodile's Cheese Sticks

Ingredients
1 package of 12 string cheeses
1 cup panko crumbs
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons milk
2 Tablespoons butter
Marinara sauce
Tools
Knife
2 Medium bowls
Fork
Small bowl
Baking sheet
Spoon

Instructions
1) Unwrap each string cheese and cut in half.
2) In a medium bowl, mix together panko and Italian crumbs with spoon.
3) Use the fork to beat together the eggs and milk in small bowl.
4) Place flour in a medium bowl. Roll each piece of cheese in flour.
5) Next, cover the cheese stick with the egg mixture.
6) Now, coat the cheese stick with the crumb mixture.
7) Place the mozzarella sticks in the freezer for 30 minutes.
8) Remove the mozzarella sticks from the freezer, line the baking sheet with parchment paper, and space them out evenly on the baking sheet.
9) Melt the butter and drizzle it over the mozzarella sticks.
10) Bake cheese sticks for 8-10 mins. Let cool, and enjoy with some marinara sauce!

3/4 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1, 3.5 ounce packet of instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sprinkles

Instructions
1) Ask a parent to preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
2) With the mixer, beat together the butter and sugar for 2 minutes.
3) Now, add one whole egg, one egg yolk, vanilla, baking soda, and salt. Mix these ingredients together until evenly combined.
4) Then, mix in the pudding mix for 30 seconds.
5) Add the flour and mix on low speed until all flour is combined with the mixture.
6) Scoop the cookie dough into 2 Tablespoon portions and place 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7) Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Don't forget to scrape the sides of your mixing bowl to combine all ingredients!
