My name is Jewel. Call me crazy, but I know a place where there are a lot of fairies. A specific one is my best friend. Her name is April. (She lives in Rainbow Forest with her mommy and thousands of other fairies.) (No, really.) I live in Rainbow Forest. One time, I was almost taken from Rainbow Forest! This is my story.

It was getting late one day. "April," I said to my fairy friend."My mom is probably getting worried about me. I need to go home. Okay?" "Can you find your way back home?"Asked April. "Of course." I said. "Bye! I'll see you tomorrow!" April waved to me. It was about a quarter mile to my house from Rainbow Forest. I had to hurry.

Suddenly, two kidnappers jumped out of a shiny red car. I trembled at the sight of them. "We done saw you talkin' to a fairy. Tell me where she is!", one of the kid-nappers said. I started to run away from the crooks, but they came running after me! Now you have to understand, the fairies in Rainbow Forest wanted to remain a secret. That's why I ran away. I did not want to tell the crooks about the fairies.

I was still running when I ran into April. "There are kidnappers chasing me!", I said to April."I have been running for a long time. I'm pooped! I have to keep running, though, because the crooks are right behind me! Can you help me?!?" "Well," said April," You'll have to face your fear and ride on a pegasus." I shuddered. I got on the pegasus. I went up a little. I went up a little more. THEN SUDDENLY..........

I was looking down at Rainbow Forest. I was not very fond of flying, but I had conquered one of my fears. Yet, I had another one.

When I got home, it was the next morning. My parents were very worried. My mother said. "Baby, where have you been?" When I told her about the kidnappers, my dad said quietly,"We should consider moving." I was shocked. Moving away from Rainbow Forest? That was a horrid thought.
