Desolate Dreamscapes
4
Under the moon, and out of the dark, against all odds, and for our lives, these are the thoughts that ran through my head, there's no one left here everyone's dead, I got out just in time, the ship went down and this was the night I dreamt about years ago when I woke up screaming for help, I was alone with nobody to tell.
Open your eyes and feel the rain outside, I run through the night with no new places to hide, and if I could I might stop and ask, "What was it that happened here in years past?" Now tell me what you thought was going to happen, now you're just a ghost of a bad habit.
I wander down this trail as it reaches towards the sun, these voices calling out for me with what now needs to be done, at the end of this trail is where the sea reclaims the sand, as I step into the light towards an outstretched hand, I am taken now to a place where feelings disappear, a place so bright and beautiful like a simple unshed tear, a place where pain now fades away and there is no loss or sorrow, as the morning light awakens you to a strange and new tomorrow

Crossing The Void
6
The feeling of falling and the sound of the ocean, I awake in a strange place I swear I've already been, it's rarely this hard to convince myself to wake up, the question really is "Will it be worth it to forget?"
The light breaks through the clouds, I stand here alone rising with the sun, this hand reaches out for me, I know what must be done, the feeling of that never ending yesterdays dream
The lights and the visions get lost in my head, I know it's not real but I just cant pretend, I stand and turn around only to find that I'm alone, I breathe and face the cold fact that this will never be home
7
The Messenger
8
You travel all night through the cold and the rain only to find that no one will understand, you wander down endless streets shouting it to the stars, you bring a message for this town that no one but you believes, they lock their doors and hide from the night and you can only hope that someone will be there to let the light in
Step through the mirror and take a look around and when you fall back out will you be the same? You stand on these thoughts and whisper to yourself, "How much farther can this go until I'm forever lost?"
They have no idea who you really are, but nothing here is what it seems, it's whatever you make it because it's in your head, you say you have seen what the future holds but no one could ever see, and when you find yourself even you might not believe, but then a man approaches swearing to the moon that he has heard your message, and still has hope to believe in the lights return

Solitary Space
10
Maybe we can travel back to point and laugh at our pathetic pasts and remorse at all of our dead friendships, but I'd rather live the here and now and turn around with my head held high, but we know neither of us could handle this goodbye
Don't let me go, I've been standing here alone waiting for you, these years keep moving by and I'm still right here waiting for you, just waiting for you
Looking past the shadows of stars in the cold November sky, see the lights of ages long past and wind the clocks back to a paradise light years away, step outside the world and watch it spin by as you let the end finally go, let yourself float away into the black, consumed by your new home
I've been sitting on these steps alone all night long, staring up to the stars wondering where we went wrong, why did you have to go back? Why can't you just stay with me? why did you have to go back? I just want you down here with me

Sunsets and Serenades
12
All those nights we'd lie awake and laugh and dream of a world where we'd be kings, we would run the streets and touch the distant lands, everyone would know our names and they would say "Look what they have built." Yeah maybe another day
Sunsets and serenades they call to us in the summer evenings, we stand here holding hand and waiting for the fall, just waiting for the fall, fireflies and shooting stars they light the sky and guide us onward back to home where we can finally sleep, where we can finally dream, of the world for you and me
As we travel the world we will cross the oceans exchanging our stories, we will carry our message of the lights return, we'd continue on across the lands and to the clouds we'd sing "This is our empire now." Yeah maybe just one more day"
13
Projections
14
These nights start running together and it's almost gone again, the days seem shorter and shorter and you don't know how long it's been, waiting outside by the trees everybody stands, hear the sounds of summers end slipping through your hands, yet another midnight and we're still holding on, we know it won't be long this time, the summer is gone
These headlights outcast the shadows back into the trees but as they fade into the distance they all come rushing back again, the darkness pours back in until there is no where left to turn, and bitterness is all you have left
One last night to sit and watch the wind sweep through the trees, it will carry this thought and these words from here across the darkened seas, holding onto these final moments is the hardest thing you can do, and if there is someone out there who feels this way, just know that I do too
One final midnight as another year passes by, as we sit through the final hours and wait for the sun to slowly die

Imaginary Place
16
"Do you ever dream and then wake up, or at least think that you woke up and have trouble telling real life from that dream world? I've been having trouble sleeping lately, or maybe I haven't, I don't know. Do you ever dream and then wake up, or at least think that you woke up and have trouble telling real life from that dream world? Like you could close your eyes for a moment and disappear back into that solitary space, that place beyond dreams, or hopes, or nightmares."
"When things seem to repeat over and over"
"No matter what you do you never truly know whether you're dreaming or living"
"Make it stop, you gotta wake up"
"That clawing feeling in the back of your mind like you've been here before once, or twice, or a thousand times"
"Living only in that dream, or just dreaming to live?"
"Perfect paranoia, perfect lucidity"
