This book is dedicated to the one and only Goddess Vakidis.

In the far away land of Ancient Greece there were immortals roaming the Earth. At first, there were two classifications of being immortal. There were the gods, who were absolutely indestructible. Then there was the flora and fauna which were immortal, but could be severely harmed, but then could regenerate almost instantly. Death had not existed, so everything was immortal.
When Uranus and Gaea were in power, they thought that there were only 12 titans, their children. What they didn't know, is that there was a 13th titan, his name was Oblivius. His origin is unknown.

He had no particular titan abilities until the day he challenged Uranus' throne. You see, Oblivius was older than all of Uranus' children. He claimed to know more about the universe than Uranus. The truth was that Oblivius was much more powerful and knowledgeable than Uranus.
This enraged Uranus, and he cursed Oblivius with the Mask of Sorrow. This mask was stitched onto Oblivius' face and was a horror to see.

Oblivius was forced to walk the world alone. After a day or two in the woods, he came across a deer. The deer was so horrified at his appearance that it dropped lifeless.

This death broke the string of immortality within flora and fauna (and later humans). This was later strengthened by Pandora's box.
