and learning about the three Laws of Motion.
He does not know that much about the Laws of
Motion. Hopefully he can learn about them in
school and out of school with his friends.

2

the teacher talked about the first law
of motion. It states that an object at
rest will stay at rest, and an object that
is moving at a constant velocity will
continue moving at a constant velocity,
unless it is acted upon by an
unbalanced force.

3

if I did not touch a ball will it stay there?
Since the moon has the less gravity and air
resistance, which will not stop the ball unlike
Earth. He went to the moon with his friends.
4

and it did not move. When he
kicked the ball on the moon
it curved down after a little
while. Then it went on the ground and
slowly stopped. This is because gravity pulled
it down towards the moon and friction
slowed it down then stopped the ball.
5

he threw a ball out of the widow. It never
stopped, curved down or moved in a
different direction. This is because there
is no gravity or friction in space unless
you get too close to another planet
or things in space.
6

they were learning about the second law of
motion. It states acceleration depends on the
object’s mass and on the net force acting on the
object. Net force is the overall force on an
object when all the individual forces acting
on it are added together.

7

that is big. Mickey is going to see which car will go
faster. He was driving one car and it did not move
very fast. Because the car did not move very fast
Mickey Mouse needed more power to make the
car move.

8

Newton's third law of motion states that if one object exerts a
force on another object, then the second object exerts a force
of equal strength in the opposite diction on the first object.

9

Newton's third law of motion. Mickey and his friends
thought if they jumped it would be and example of the
third law. Mickey jumped up. When he jumped his legs
pushed down on the ground and that was the force exerted
on the ground. The reaction force is the ground pushing
Mickey up into the air. Even though you can not see
the ground pushing mickey up the force is still there.
