Once upon a time there was a team called

THE TITANS.

They liked to eat, laugh, and take A LOT of selfies.

But there was one thing they LOVED to do...

They

loved

to

run.

They could be crazy at times,

But they had great coaches to keep them in line.

Some were assistant coaches, like Verbeck and Smaga...

Others were runners the year before, that wanted to come back and help the team..

Coach Steger kept them on time...

but the heart of the team was

Coach Creston Fenn.

These coaches helped the runners dream BIG and find ways to reach those dreams.

They started their season in June with the Dairy Queen Run where they ran, then ate ice cream when they were finished.

Coach Fenn loved to come to 7 a.m. summer runs, but he could not always make it there.

The last week of June, Coach Fenn took the team camping. It was a crazy night, filled with tornado warnings, movies, and flooded tents!

They ran the Bix at 6 the next day. They knew if they could run up the Brady Street hill with only 3 hours of sleep, they could do anything.

CAMP

When the official season started, the runners won many medals, but never won a meet.

They did not always have a good race, but the Titans never lost hope.

The girls team got fake tattoos to remind themselves to keep believing when times got tough. Even Coach Fenn got one!

One day, everything seemed to click. They ran great at Regionals!

Sadly, the boys did not make it as a team, but they were excited to watch the girls and Austin run at Sectionals.

The Titans had their best practices of the season just in time for Sectionals. Finally, it was meet day! Everyone was ready to run!

They started off great! Pushing themselves with every step.

However, fate had other plans that day. Only Whitney made it to State, but everyone was so proud of her!

The girls were disappointed that they did not make it to State, but they were not done yet. They had to cheer Whitney on!
