What is a smoothie?
A smoothie is a blended drink of various fruits and/or vegetables, ofteen pureed with ice, milk, yogurt, or fruit juice. They can be a great beverage to help you start off your day with the vitamins and nutrients you need. Recipes can vary depending on your taste, but in this book, I'll share one of my favorites.






Ingredient 1
1 ripe banana
Bananas are a healthy source of potassium and vitamin B6. They are great for your heart health, digestive health, and your tastebuds too!
Ingredient 2
1/2 cup of mixed berries
Berries are a wonderful source of fiber and antioxidants. They also pack a tangy, sweet flavor in your smoothie! Choose a handful of your favorite varieties.
Ingredient 3
1 navel orange
Oranges are a well-known source of vitamin C. Adding this delicious fruit to your diet can help prevent kidney disease!
Ingredient 4
1 cup of milk
Add a splash of milk to help blend all of your fruits together, while getting a healthy dose of calcium and vitamin D!
