Sophie loved to play outside and peak over to Ms. Amber's garden. It was beautiful with colorful flowers, chirping birds, and growing crops. She often thought of it being enchanted. She dreamed that one day the animals would be her friends, the flowers would come to life and dance in the wind, and the birds would sing.
Sophie's mother called out "It's almost time to come in dear. The rain will be here shortly." Sophie responded "just a few minutes mother, my friends and I are playing a game." Sophie's mom knew she had a wild imagination. She agreed to let her stay a little while longer. Sophie hadn't noticed the broken fence. This would be her way to the garden, she thought. Sophie made her way through the hole in the fence. She couldn't believe her eyes! The garden was even more beautiful than she ever imagined!

As Sophie entered the garden, she was approached by a rabbit with large point ears. "Welcome" said the rabbit. "Can you please help me find the carrots? I must take them for mother." Sophie couldn't believe her eyes, and ears!!!! She agreed to help the rabbit if he played a game with her first. The two played together before Sophie helped the rabbit pick carrots to take back home.

Sophie looked around to see what else she could do. She heard a sweet song. She looked up and noticed a beautiful bird. Sophie held out her hand and the bird stood on her finger. "Can you help me find my house?" asked the bird. "I must return to my nest." Sophie agreed to help the bird but only if they sang a song together. Sophie then helped the bird find her home where she returned to her nest.
