"Papaw, did you ever want to go to the moon?"

"Yes Hays, many times! Do you want to go to the moon?"

"Oh Papaw, if I could, I would get a rocket ship, and you and I and my robot would go tonight! We'd fly up past the clouds, past the stars, and land right on the moon!"

"That sounds great Hays. Maybe tomorrow we can go shopping for rockets! But right now, its time for bed. "

That night Hays dreamed of rockets,

and Hays dreamed of stars.

Hays dreamed of the moon, and of Venus, and Mars!

Hays and Papaw were astronauts,

shooting their way through space!

They had astronaut suits on their bodies,

and space wind in their face!

They met a friendly alien,

who waved and said "Hello!"

They said "Hi!" to the cow who jumped

over the moon,

and ate lime green, alien jello!

What would Hays and Papaw find

on the moon so gray and spotty?

Would they find aliens living there?

And would they be nice or be naughty?

They saw a giant, alien Zorg,

chasing Jellies with a ray!
