There once was a lonely little fox named Fennec that lived in a beautiful forest.

Fennec loved the forest but he was sad that he had no other foxes to play with.

Fennec decided to set out on an adventure to find other foxes, like him, so that they could play and have fun all day long!

Shortly after Fennec set out on his adventure he came across a bear and raccoon playing in a field. 

“Hello Fox!” said the bear. “My name is Boo and this is Rocket”. They asked if Fennec If he would like to play with them.

Fennec considered this for a moment and replied, “but you are not foxes, we cannot play together.” With that Fennec set off again to find some foxes to play with.

Soon Fennec heard laughing in the distance. Out hopped a bunny followed by a hedgehog and a squirrel.

“Hi” said Fennec. “have you seen any fox’s around that I could play with?” The bunny replied “no but you can play with us, my name is Sonic and this is Bella and Poppy!”

“No thanks” said Fennec sadly. “I am looking for some foxes to play with.” Poppy, Bella and Sonic looked sad that Fennec would not play with them.

Fennec walked on, feeling sad. The bunny, squirrel and hedgehog seemed like a fun bunch to play with but he was determined to find some foxes, like him, to play with.

Fennec was about to give up when he heard laughing again. Fennec ran on excitedly, hoping he had finally found some foxes.
