      Once upon a time, deep in the South American 

forest, there lived three monkeys. The forest had 

many monkeys. Marv, Manny, and Mel all lived by each 

other. Manny usually follows Marv around, but doesn't 

talk much at all. These three monkeys lived in the 

forest and were best friends. They had met three 

years ago when Mel's mother left to go to the zoo. One 

day, Marv asked, "Do you want a banana?" Mel 

responded, "Sorry, I don't eat bananas, I eat oranges.

      Marv was very confused. "How can 

you be a monkey if you do not like 

bananas?" "I guess I'm just different." 

said Mel. "Well, different isn't good with 

me, bananas are way better than 

oranges." said Marv. Mel said, "Well, if 

you are not going to accept me because 

I'm different, we are not friends 

anymore!" Marv was being a big bully.

      After the argument, Mel goes 

deeper into the forest to find another 

friend. He sees another monkey. "Hi, 

I'm Mel" he said. "Hey, what's up, I'm 

Mary." she said. Mel replied, "Do you 

want to be friends?" She said, "Sure, 

here, take a banana." Mel said, "I don't 

like bananas, I prefer to eat oranges."

       "You're weird, you can't be a 

regular monkey if you don't like 

bananas." said Mary. "But I just want to 

be friends with you." Mel said. "I will 

only be friends with you if you eat one 

banana." she said. "Sorry, I will not eat 

that banana." Mel said. Mary replied, 

"Well, I'm gonna go hang out with my 

NORMAL monkey friends." She threw a 

banana at him and left Mel in the forest, 

lonely and depressed.
