Now there was a time where sloths weren’t so slow. It all started when the surprised sporty super speedy sloth was invited by some friends to Philippines. Now, the surprised super speedy sloth was boastful. “I can beat anyone in a race,” he quoted, and he was right! He never backed down to a challenge no matter how hard the race was; the problem was, whenever he beat someone, he ran a few more laps just to show off. Sloth wondered, ‘How am I going to get there?’ When suddenly, his mate, the loyal peregrine falcon advanced near him and said (squawked), “Hey, the guys sent me to come to you!”. So, the Sloth hopped on its back and together, they rode to the Philippines.

When he got to Philippines, at the airport he met his friends, the slow, small snail, the nimble hare and the slow nervous turtle. At once, they all travelled to the Right real rare racing track new the forest. First, snail challenged Sloth to a race of one mile. “Sure, but I’ll definitely win!”, replied Sloth. So snail and sloth were at the starting line of the right real rare racing track. “Ready, set, GO!” said hare and off they went. Snail went to the extreme speed of slow (but that’s another story) and sloth went TURBO. However, Sloth’s pride started kicking in and instead of one lap, he ran 5 miles! That’s Sloth, 1 and everyone else, 0.

To try and win the race back, Hare challenged Snail and Sloth to a race. “Bet you can’t beat me!”, said Sloth as they made their way to the starting line of the Right Real Rare racing track. “On your mark, get set, GO!”, said turtle (very slowly) and off they went! Hare and Sloth went neck to neck. However suddenly, Hare tripped, leaving Sloth in the lead. However, once again, Sloth became proud and ran 25 miles around the track. That’s Sloth 3 and everyone else, 0.

Later on that day, when they were having snack, Turtle asked Sloth to come deep in the forest (for he was nervous of being overheard). “Do you want to race against me?”, asked Turtle. “Sure thing, Turtle!”, replied Sloth. “Can you go easy on me then, please.” “ok”, replied Sloth. Whilst everyone was playing, Turtle and Sloth headed over to the Right Real Rare racing track. “You ready?”, asked Sloth. “ok”, replied Turtle. “Ready, set, GO!”, said Sloth and off they went. Sloth, trying to go slow, was still too fast for Turtle even when he’s going easy. So of course, Sloth won and became proud and ran 100 times around Turtle. “Sorry, I’m just a bit too fast.” “It’s ok”, replied Turtle. That’s Sloth, 4 (but no one knew) and everyone else, 0.
