Cory the Cardinal went to the football game one Friday night. He was really hungry, so he ate yummy hot dogs, buttery popcorn, and drank soda.  He also ate a candy bar.  The cardinal loves the concession stand food although it's not good for his body.

After the game,  Cory was sad because he couldn't fly as high as the other birds. He knew he needed to make a change. 

Cory knew that if he wanted to fly high like the other fit birds, he needed a new healthy lifestyle.

He started slowly by going outside more and getting exercise. He jumped rope, played hopscotch, and rode his bicycle.

When he packed his school lunch, he made sure he had healthy snacks such as apples, grapes and bananas.

Cory the cardinal also replaced all the sugary sodas with water.  He learned that water tasted really good!!
