The Siberian Husky is a medium size working dog breed that originated in north-eastern Siberia, Russia. The breed belongs to the Spitz genetic family.
Fun Fact: Siberian Huskies arrived in Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush.

SIBERIAN HUSKY

The Labrador Retriever, also Labrador, is a type of retriever-gun dog.
Fun Fact: Labrador Retrievers are the most popular dogs in the USA.
LABRADOR RETRIEVER


PUG
The Pug is a breed of dog with physically distinctive features of a wrinkly, short-muzzled face, and curled tail.
Fun Fact: There was a secret organization named after the dog.

The Beagle is a breed of small hound, similar in appearance to the much larger foxhound. The beagle is a scent hound, developed primarily for hunting hare.

BEAGLE
Fun Fact: Beagle Means "Loudmouth" in French.

GERMAN SHEPHERD
The German Shepherd is a breed of medium to large-sized working dog that originated in Germany.
Fun Fact: they are popular as family, guard, performance, show, police, military, and service dogs.



The Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dog, regarded as medium-to-large or large. The dogs were known in German as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Rottweil butchers' dogs.
ROTTWEILER
Fun Fact: The Rottweiler was originally used by the Romans as they began to settle in Germany.

POODLE

The poodle is a group of formal dog breeds, the Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle.
Fun Fact: Poodles are one of the smartest dog breeds.

SHIH TZU

A Shih Tzu, also known as the Chrysanthemum Dog, is a toy dog breed, weighing 10–19 pounds when fully grown.
Fun Fact: The Breed Is More Than 1,000 Years Old.


BULLDOG
The Bulldog is a medium-sized breed of dog commonly referred to as the English Bulldog or British Bulldog.
Fun Fact:They often suffer from hip dysplasia and other medical concerns.


DOBERMAN PINSCHER
The Doberman Pinscher, or Dobermann, or Doberman, is a medium-large breed of domestic dog originally developed around 1890.
Fun Fact: A combination of dog breeds went into developing the Doberman, but the exact mixture isn’t known.


The Boxer is a medium-sized, short-haired breed of dog, developed in Germany.
BOXER
Fun Fact: Boxers come in various types of colouring including brindle, fawn and white.


YORKSHIRE TERRIER
The Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog breed of terrier type, developed during the 19th century in Yorkshire, England, to catch rats in clothing mills.
Fun Fact: Yorkies are the most popular breed of all the “toy” dogs and can live from 13 to 16 years-of-age.


CHOW CHOW
The Chow Chow is a dog breed originally from northern China, where it is referred to as Songshi Quan, which means "puffy-lion dog".
Fun Fact: It's the only dog breed to have a purplish tongue and lips.


AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER
Pit bull is the common name for a type of dog. Formal breeds often considered in North America to be of the pit bull type include the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Fun Fact: The bulldog was crossed with either the white English terrier or the black-and-tan terrier to create powerfully-built dogs for fighting.


GREAT DANE
The Great Dane is a large German breed of domestic dog known for its giant size.
Fun Fact: They were originally Bred to Hunt boar.


DACHSHUND
The dachshund is a short-legged, long-bodied, hound-type dog breed.
Fun Fact: The name Dachshund comes from the German “Dachs” meaning “badger” and “hund” meaning dog.


POMERANIAN
The Pomeranian is a breed of dog of the Spitz type that is named for the Pomerania region in Germany and Poland in Central Europe.
Fun Fact: These small dogs typically weigh around 7 to 10 pounds, but they're descended from big sled dogs.


ENGLISH MASTIFF
The English Mastiff is a breed of extremely large dog perhaps descended from the ancient Alaunt and Pugnaces Britanniae.
Fun Fact: There's no record, but it's likely that the Romans first introduced mastiff-type dogs to England.


CHIHUAHUA
The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog and is named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico.
Fun Fact: Chihuahuas were first known as the Arizona dog.


MALTESE
The Maltese, Canis familiaris Maelitacus, is a small breed of dog in the Toy Group. It descends from dogs originating in the Central Mediterranean Area.
Fun Fact: Many historical references to "Maltese" dogs, it turns out, were actually descriptions of Pomeranians.


AKITA
The Akita Inu is a large breed of dog originating from the mountainous northern regions of Japan.
Fun Fact: They were used to hunt boar, elk, and the small Yezo bear.


GREYHOUND
The Greyhound is a breed of dog; a sighthound which has been bred for coursing game and Greyhound racing.
Fun Fact: Grey colored greyhounds are rare, and are not referred to as grey, but as “blue”.


ST BERNARD
The St. Bernard or St Bernard is a breed of very large working dog from the western Alps in France, Switzerland and Italy.
Fun Fact: Gaining their name from the dangerous St. Bernard pass in the Alps between Italy and Switzerland, the breed was famous for rescuing people lost in the snow and in avalanches.


PEKINGESE
The Pekingese is an ancient breed of toy dog, originating in China.
Fun Fact: Named for the capital city of Peking (now Beijing), they were companions to nobles, princes, and members of the imperial family.


MINIATURE PINSCHER
The Miniature Pinscher is a small breed of dog originating from Germany.
Fun Fact: Miniature Pinschers fancy themselves to be guard dogs, and will bark at all unfamiliar noises.


JACK RUSSELL TERRIER
The Jack Russell Terrier is a small terrier that has its origins in fox hunting.
Fun Fact: This breed is most happy when given companionship and a job to do.


HAVANESE
The Havanese, a breed of Bichon type, is the national dog of Cuba, developed from the now extinct Blanquito de la Habana.
Fun Fact: Havanese generally mature at 1 year of age, although they reach their full size around 6 to 8 months.


ALASKAN MALAMUTE
The Alaskan Malamute is a large breed of domestic dog originally bred for hauling heavy freight because of their strength and endurance, and later a sled dog.
Fun Fact: The name of this Nordic primitive dog was given after the Mahlemuits, an Inuit tribe from the upper western region of Alaska.


GOLDEN RETRIEVER
The Golden Retriever is a large-sized breed of dog bred as gun dogs to retrieve shot waterfowl such as ducks and upland game birds during hunting and shooting parties.
Fun Fact: According to the American Kennel Club, the Golden Retriever is the 3rd most popular breed.


AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD
The Australian Shepherd, often known simply as the "Aussie", is a medium-sized breed of dog that was, despite its name, developed on ranches in the Western United States during the 19th century.
Fun Fact: Some Native American tribes called the breed the ghost eye dog, because of their crystal-colored eyes.


WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER
The West Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the Westie, is a breed of dog from Scotland with a distinctive white harsh coat with a somewhat soft white undercoat.
Fun Fact: The earliest traces of this cheerful little dog can be traced back to the time of King James I of England.


CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a small spaniel classed as a toy dog by The Kennel Club and the American Kennel Club.
Fun Fact: Known for their friendliness and affection, they love nothing more than cuddling up with their owners.


ENGLISH COCKER SPANIEL
The English Cocker Spaniel is an active, good-natured, sporting dog standing well up at the withers and compactly built.
Fun Fact: They love to be with their people and they make very good family dogs.
