The Aim of the project
In this project we created an opportunity to draw pictures of the characters in our students' imaginations and to make our students tell their stories with their characters in a video conference.

2nd Lesson :
The aim of the second lesson was to begin to think about pretending to be someone else.
The children watched a video taken from "Tales of the night" by the renowned director Michel Ocelot. In the excerpt a prince and a princess kiss many times, becoming something different every time they kiss. In the end the prince will become the princess and vice versa.
Then the students have chosen a classmate by pulling out a note with his/her name from the teacher's hand and tried to impersonate him/her by describing themselves as if they were the classmate they had choosen.
SAMPLE STORY TEXT
First Adventure in the Prehistory!
Your character find himself/herself thrown back in time up to the prehistory. He/She is inside a big and dark cave and only a fire, near some other people he/she doesn't know but seem similar to him/her, is illuminating the space. :o: Other people are with them. They seem to be homo habilis that live in to the cave. Your character approach the others "modern" boys and girls and try to talk to them. What will he/she say? Try and make your character talk about what you know about the prehistoric period - if you need it you can also do a brief research on the internet - : the tools people used, how people lived, how were they dressed and so on.
Kid's reply :
The first lesson was based on using our body to mimic something.
First the students pretended to be on a raft, occupying the space of the classroom in a balanced way, so it was impossible to sink, then we imitated different walks (such as : an hasty walk, a quite walk, the walk of an infant or of an elderly and so on...). The third activity was based on pretending to be part of a painting. The students were divided in different groups and had to choose the first to initiate the picture, by positioning in space and declaring what he/she was representing. The other members of his/her group had to position themselves around him/her and imitate something that had to do with the theme proposed by the first member. Other groups had to guess what every student was impersonating. For the last two activities we used a woolen thread. The thread was first used to mimic one common use of a wire - every student, in turn, has chosen one and then the other classmates have imitated it - then was used to represent something on a drawing. The students were free to choose whatever they wanted and the did an amazing, brilliant and varied work!
Dory smemorina - Dory si avvicina al gruppo e dice quanto conosce : "La preistoria avvenne prima della storia. La preistoria era abitata da: homo abilis ,homo erectus, homo sapiens
,homo sapiens sapiens erano cacciatori e usavano armi molto affilate .
Max approaches the others in the cave and, to help them, begins to talk :
" The prehistory came before history and was inhabitated by Homo erectus.
About one and a half million years ago, human evolution led to the emergence of a new species: Homo erectus (which stands). It was one meter high and sixty cm and had a brain more developed than Homo habilis. He splintered sharp stones on both sides, called "amygdala". He lived in huts, but he learned to build shelters with
branches and animal skins. Men hunted in groups. The women were dedicated to collecting insects, berries and roots. He learned to light the fire. He communicated with a language of gestures and sounds."
Dory approaches the group and says what she knows about prehistory :"The prehistory happened before history. The prehistoric time was inhabited by homo habilis, Homo erectus, Homo sapiens, Homo sapiens sapiens. They were hunters and they used very sharp weapons. They hunted large and small animals. They were dressed in animal skins and learn how to light a fire. They used fire to scare away animals, to cook their meat and to get warm."
