Pow! All the books that Joey was carrying crash to the sidewalk!

"Hey, why don't you watch where you're going dude?" "Sorry man, says the young man wearing a red polka dot tie."

The boy in the tie is Tommy Smith. He helps Joey pick up all the scattered books. Tommy introduces himself and Joey does as well! "Glad to meet you Joey Davis, says Tommy without stretched hand. Joey slowly reaches out and shakes his hand! The two 9th graders are in the second week of school.

"Hey Joey, do you like go karts? I have a real cool one. Would you like to see it?"

"yeah, I guess so!"

Soon Joey and Tommy are having a blast! Tommy's dad is a race car driver on the NASCAR circuit. He built Tommy his own track in their large back yard.

"Wow, Tommy you play great! but, that music is not rock; what is it?"

"Joey, it's Christian music. You see I am a child of God"

Tommy and Joey make great friends, and all through school they pal around together! Now it's graduation time at Harvey High School, and the Valedictorian is Joey. Consider his unusual speech!
