Lachie had a great big pirate ship. He was the Captain.

All the pirates thought he was very brave. He looked after his pirates. They had plenty of food and clothes. They loved sailing on the seas.

When the pirates took gold and jewels from other boats the crew always got their share. Captain Lachie did NOT keep it all for himself.

Some of the treasure they sent home to their families who used it to buy food and clothes and things for school.

Pirate children are very clever. They go to school and learn all sorts of things about the sea, the animals and how to be the best pirates. They read and write. They love numbers and counting things.

Captain Lachie gave treasure to help the poor sea animals. People put plastic and rubbish into the sea. He was VERY, VERY angry about this.

On Saturday Captain Lachie was NOT happy. He couldn't find his treasure. He looked and looked. The boat was rocking with all the stomping around in his big boots.

"Did you throw it overboard into the sea?" asked Pirate No.2.

"No, I didn't!" shouted Captain Lachie.

"Alright, alright. Stop waving your sword around Captain," said Pirate No.3, "Did you hide it down below in the hold? Lets go and look."

"No it's not here. That's the old treasure for our families."

"Let's ask the parrot," said Captain Lachie.

Captain Lachie always had good ideas.
