Lillian has a dog-named Ti. He was the only dog for eight years. She would walk him, take him to the park, sing to him, play fetch and kiss him good night. He would sleep on her floor ever night. Sometimes he would sleep on her bed. Such as if, she was scared of the thunder and she needed comfort. Lillian's dad took Ti hunting in the fall sometimes. While Lillian's mom was cooking Ti would lay on the floor to give her some company! Lillian's brother Jude would incorporate Ti into his games. Like him and Jude had to save the world or catch the band of pirates and steal their booty, Jude would always laugh at the word booty Ti didn't get it! He loved his family he loved Lillian especially she was the one who took care of him! She fed him, gave him the medicine he needed for his rash, picked up his poop (which was very embarrassing), but she did mostly everything! Lillian could not have asked for a better dog! People could say they would be partners forever! In one days time that all seemed to change! What wasn’t going to be the problem! Who was going to be the issue! Who was about to take everything away from Ti and his whole life was about to change.

Lillian and her mom drove to a gas station. Ti could only think that they were getting drinks or snacks or getting gas like they've done before. It would take long for them to get back home. They could be running other errands! Ti only new of the gas station because he had heard Lillian mention it! Usually they would go to more stores in Prescott then just a gas station in Chino because where they lived it took thirty minutes just to get to the nearest store! Although they did have a school and a Safeway and a few ice cream and pizza shops it just wasn't really a town with stores. Even going to Safeway or school in Chino took at least seven minutes. Chino was very spread out. Ti was very sure that they would probably be gone for awhile!           

Ti was surprised to find it only took them fifteen minutes max to get back. When they came home, Ti was certainly very, very surprised to find they were holding a different dog. Not just a different dog, but a Pomeranian Chihuahua. Ti thought of them as annoying little brats! He had lived right next door to Pomeranian's and Chihuahuas and they were the most annoying thing ever! They barked during the day and they barked at night on and on and on! Why would Lillian suddenly just bring one home? Maybe the dog’s owner was a friend and needed them to take care of it! Maybe it was a stray and Lillian would find a home for it tomorrow! Either way Ti hoped it left! He liked having all the attention and being the only dog it wasn't so lonely Lillian and her brother kept him company.Ti was confused and hopeful for the longest time then, he got a good look at the dog.

It was Orange and White. Ti could barely tell past the dirty smoke and skin rash the dog had. It was as little as Lillian's palm. It looked scared hiding into Lillian's sleeve. Lillian was cuddling with it and comforting it. Ti could barely make out the words, but he thought he heard her say "its okay Mr. Fox, it’s going to be okay! He thought Lillian hated Pomeranian's especially Chihuahuas why would she cuddle it! Why would she even get another dog! Didn't she like him! Why wasn't she cuddling him and saying its okay to him! He was the one who needed comforting! Ti was freaking out in this sudden change. It better leave it can’t be permanent Lillian wouldn’t she barely knew the dog. He couldn't remember much he just knew that his head felt dizzy and Lillian was worried about him leaning sideways but then he blacked out.

When Ti woke up he saw Lillian starting to give the dog a bath. Over the day suddenly Ti realized something, he was not getting all the attention! Ti did not get to go to the Park because Mr. Fox was too little! Mr. Fox was sung to longer! Lillian did not have any time to play fetch she was too busy with Mr. Fox! He got bathes all the time, which was fine because Ti hated, bathes! Plus he didn't get to do bathes in the house like the other dog he had to go outside and get washed by the hose! Mr. Fox got a thousand more kisses, and Mr.fox slept in her bed every night! Not just nights with thunder! The worst part is she gave him a nickname! "Foxy!" Ti wanted to have a nickname! Lillian could call him........Tity? Ti was furious and sad he wanted Lillian back! Why didn't she like him anymore! Ti wanted to know he wished that he could talk to Lillian say something to her. There was nothing he could do dogs could not speak to humans and that was a fact no matter how hard you tried.
