The first thing you'll need to know is that Abuelito Jorge
had two brothers and three sisters. His brother Carlos is
the youngest and Jorge was the second youngest. Well,
really, Carlos' real name is Herbert Eldin. Jorge never
liked that name so when he was born Jorge changed his
name to "Carlos." And it stuck.

Jorge always wanted to keep whatever his brothers and
sisters found. If they found something, he'd say, "That's
mine, that's mine" without ever knowing what it was. Once
they wrapped up some garbage and yelled, "Hey Jorge, look
what we found!" They knew Jorge would say it was his.

Jorge loved baseball. He played a lot when he was a kid
until he broke his arm. He had to go to sleep with that
broken arm and wait until morning to go to the doctor.
But he never stopped loving baseball and he'd watch
every game.

Jorge loved going to Puerto Rico where he was born. He
grew up in Cabo Rojo and would return every chance he
got. On vacation there, he'd get up at 5am to have
breakfast with all his family and friends, eating his way
back home.

Later he'd take his family to the beach. On the way
there, he'd beep the car horn and wave at people on the
road. He'd call out, "Hello Sinforoso! Hola Rincanculin!"
When you'd ask him who all these people were with the
strange names, he'd say, "How should I know? I made
'em up!"

Jorge loved to play practical jokes on people.
Sometimes if you fell asleep, he'd sneak up on you and
tickle your feet or get on all fours and bark like a dog.
He even owned a whoopee cushion that he'd use on
Abuela or his friends at work.
Why? Just because!
