Time to wake up sleepy head! Its your first day of kindergarten.

Today was Jake's first day of kindergarten. I needed to wake him up before he was late. "Time to wake up sleepy head! It's your first day of kindergarten." I said walking into his room. "You don't want to be late, so get ready to leave." I said shaking him awake.

Jake walked into the kitchen and I made him cereal for breakfast. "Yummy!" he shouted, eating the last bite. "Thanks for the awesome breakfast mom." Jake said.

Paper, binder, glue, scissors, pencil?

Check! Check! Check!

Jake was super excited for school. Now all he had to do was pack his backpack and go. Paper? check, binder? check, glue? check, scissors? check, pencil? check. He was all ready to go.

Lets go!

Jake quickly put on his backpack and waited at the front door. "I'm ready!" he excitedly cheers. He deemed to be very excited to go to school. "Lets go I said" happily. And off we went to school.

Bye Mom. I love you.

I dropped Jake of and walked him up to the walkway. I can't believe my baby boy is going to kindergarten. "Bye Mom. I love you" Jake said as he gave me a hug and a kiss goodbye. "I love you too buddy" I shouted, as he disappeared into the group of other kids.

Jake learned so many new things at school. First they learned math. "Two plus tow equals four" his teacher exclaimed. He felt so smart learning grown up math.
