2nd October. Grade III went

to the "Insurrectionary Rally", to commemorate the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. They stopped for a while in the OPAK Park, then took a tram and marched over 8 kilometers from the Old Town to Wola District.

2nd October. At the beginning of autumn students planted bulbs of early spring flowers in our garden. And they collected some other bulbs and rhizomes from the ground. We keep order in our garden and park. In autumn we rake the leaves. We meet a hedgehog from time to time.

2nd-6th October. 8 students spent almost a week in Serock, north of Warsaw. They participated in the dance works, called "In the Mazovian Circle of Dance". They learned a Roma circle dance. The group performed that dance at Weterynaryjna on 16th October.

4th October. Students from ZTD and ZTE visited the Grand Theatre shops. They saw the decorations, and tried costumes on. Finally, they watched a rehearsal.

6th October. During a school assembly a visitor from PKP Polish Railway Lines SA told us about safe rail-road level crossing. She showed us traffic signs and told us what to do at rail-road level crossings.

13th October. The teachers’ team won the volleyball game Teachers vs Students. The next match is scheduled for June.

16th October. On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, there was a ceremonial assembly at our school. The first graders passed the efficiency test. The Head Teacher officially welcomed them to our school. Other students performed songs and a dance.

16th October. Since September, we had collected 170 kilos of caps! We passed them on to the father of 5-year old Ania H. They can be changed into money needed for her rehabilitation. We continue collecting caps for Ania.

17th October. Grade III went to Szczęśliwicki Park to ride the gravity train there. They rode the hill, over 150 metres high, and went down on the train with 36 kilometers per hour speed. And again, and again!

19th October. Grade III and IIIa went to the Seym building. They sat down on the same seats where the Members of the Seym sit. However, our students did not usurp the power of the Seym.

24th October. A sound mind in a sound body was the motto of the knowing and fitness competition for the youngest students at the friendly school in Elekto-ralna Street. Our team won the second position out of nine. They were: Julia M., Sandra S., Wiktoria T-S., Dominik S. and Dawid G.

25th October. Grade III and IIIa went to the old Modlin Fortress, north-west of Warsaw, where the Vistula and Narew rivers converge. They saw some old cannons outside. Inside they met some bats.

25th October. Students from several grades went to a Tesco supermarket. They learned how to follow a sensible diet and how to do shopping in Tesco.

25th October. Students from grades 4 to 7 and Gymnasium, teachers and other school workers voted for Weterynaryjna Self-Government. In total 85 people voted. 3 votes were not valid. The elected Self-Government for the school year 2017/2018 are the following students: Conrad B. (63 votes), Anita T. (60), Adrian G. (59), Magda F. (54), Anna T. (41), Łucja L. (41).

26th October. Ten students from Weterynaryjna went to Grodzisk Mazowiecki, south-west of Warsaw. They played table tennis there with students from Warsaw and six towns around it. Our representative, Diego F., won the first prize among boys.

30th October. The Sendzimir Foundation and the Greenery Management of the capital city of Warsaw contributed to the making of a special bed for flowers and plants next to our school building. It’s situated on its north side, near the gym. The water for the bed comes from the gutter. Students from the oldest grades helped in the work, which lasted several days.
