And there was Apache

at the end of her bed.

To a land far away!

So Jump on my back

and hold on tight!

Kitty can come along too

if she would like

As we fly off on an

exciting adventure tonight!

With A swish of his tail

And a flick of his head.

Apache and Thea Mae

were flying instead!

Thea Mae smiled with such Glee!

Where are we going Apache?

What will we see?

To the African Jungle

Were the animals roam free.

This is our adventure

For Just you and me!

Thea Mae squealed...

Oh Apache what is that?

That is an Elephant

as a matter of fact!

he has great big ears that go flappity flap!

and he really is such a happy chap.

Elephants are kind

and very nice

But even if they are

BIG

They are scared of

MICE!

Thea Mae exclaimed

Oh Apache look at him!

With his flicking tail

and his flowing mane.

That is a Lion

Apache replied

He is the leader

of the loin pride.

The Lion is the King of the jungle

and you will hear him roar!

He will show off his teeth

And his sharp shiny claws!

Oh Apache

What is that?

He has such huge teeth

And is so big and fat.

That my friend is a

Hippopotamus

and yes he is quite

humungus!

The Hippo's mouth can open WIDE!

And in the water he loves to slide.

you should tell Kitty to jump back on my side.

Do you see that?

That is a Leopard

A lovely big cat!

See her hiding there

in the grass

But Watch her closely

As she is very fast.

Leopards have big green

eyes.

And spotty black spots so they can easily

hide!
