Bullying is nothing new. It happens around us on a daily basis. It can be something as simple as a two- year old taking a toy away from another child.
Bullying is about someone using their strength or power to mentally or physically hurt or scare someone who is weaker or lacks the confidence to stand up for his or herself.
Before reading this book, test your knowledge to see what you already know about bullying.
1. What is bullying?
2. What does it look like to be bullied?
3. What can you do if you see someone being bullied?
4. What can you do if you are the one being bullied?
5. What is a hero?
The Story
Not so very long ago, a loving family; named the Bees, lived in a magnificent tree house that reached high up into the beautiful blue sky. There was Father Bee, Momma Bee, Brother Bee and Miss Bee.
The bustling bees buzzed around getting ready to begin their busy day.

Miss Bee is ready, so off she goes.
Almost every day, her BFFL, Beetle Bug walks to and from school with Miss Bee.

One day on their way to school, Miss Bee and Beetle Bug are surrounded by Bully Hornet and his gang.
Bully Hornet yelled, “Where are you going?”
In a very timid voice, Miss Bee replied, “To school.”

Bully Hornet drew closer and knocked the books from Miss Bee's hands and yelled, "Not today." Where’s my honey?”

Miss Bee trembled in fear and began to cry.
Beetle Bug saw what happened and stepped up to help Miss Bee. She yelled, “Stop! We’re not afraid of you. You can’t scare us while you’re pretending to be brave. Don’t come over here with that!”
