The History of Bowling
Bowling has been around for 5000 years, it started in 3200 BC and is designed for adults and children. The first bowling activity started in New York where it was considered as the bowling green, the ball would be rolled on the grass.
Bowling has become modernized whereas you roll a ball down a flat floor known as a lane. There are ten pins at the end of a lane in groups of three's sitting underneath an electronic machine. The object is to knock down as many as you can. Each pin you knock down will earn you points. The heavier the ball, the more pins will fall.

Learning The Rules
Miss Bee get two tries to knock down ten pins. She can get a strike or a split.
Each pin she knocks down will earn her two points.

Things Needed
Shoes Socks Ball
Bowling with family and
friends is fun.
BALL
It is time for Miss Bee to select her ball. There are different sizes of balls to chose from. She must find the ball that will fit her fingers and the proper weight of the ball that she can handle.
BUMPER RAILING
Miss Bee is a beginner bowler, she needs the bumper rails up so that she can bowl the perfect game and the ball will not go into the gutter.
ARROWS
Miss Bee must pay attention to the arrows on the lane. The arrows are there to guide and direct the ball where it needs to go.
ROLLING THE BALL
Practice Practice Practice
Miss Bee must practice rolling the ball if she wants to get better at bowling.
READY TO BOWL
CONCENTRATION
Keep your mind on the game. Miss Bee holds the ball in one hand and places her fingers into the three holes and quickly roll the ball onto the lane.
