Now we're not taking a large airline plane.. we're going to take a Cessna plane! ---->

Wait before we take off let's learn a little bit about the parts of a plane.

So let's take a closer look, there are the wings, the propeller, the ailerons (A-Luh-Rons), the wheels, and the tail

It's important that you know all of these parts.

Ready? Here we go!

Okay, so now that we're in the air, lets begin the basics of flight.

If you turn left with the yolk you go left, turn right with the yolk go right. BUT?!?! what happens if you pull the yolk? If you pull back on the yolk you go higher in the air! once you've reached the height you want then push the yolk in to level the nose.

Yolk- The yolk of the plane is what would be considered the wheel of a car.

Nose- The nose is the very front of the plane, almost like the nose on a person

Now that you know what's happening outside lets learn some more about the inside

So as you look around the Cockpit you will notice some of the instruments. Let's go over some commonly used ones.

The Attitude indicator and the Altitude will be used quite often.

Cockpit- The inside of the plane

Instruments- The tools used to fly on the inside

Altitude- Tells you how high you're going

Attitude-Tells you how level you are
