3rd November. Two groups of students from younger grades went to Sobieski Forest in Warsaw. They had a lesson there and the topic was Inhabitants

of the forest. They saw some birds: woodpeckers, a raven and some titmice. On the ground, they saw tracks of some animals living in the forest.

3rd November. The school Small Self-Government organized an assembly for the youngest students, named Know what I eat. They learned that they should have chips, hamburgers, sweets and soda only from time to time. And they should often have fruits, vegeta-bles, dairy, meat and water.

3rd November. Warsaw Cultural Education Centre in Jezuicka Street organized an annual exhibition of paintings by the Creative Activity Group. Students from ZTD and ZTE regularly paint there. You can see their recent paintings in an online book “Painting”

10th November. Grades 7, II, III and IIIa went to Sobieski Forest. They had a le-sson of Biology there. The topic was Biodiversity. The students saw many different birds, trees etc. The next lesson there is scheduled for spring.

13th November. The train to indepen-dence was the title of an assembly commemorating the 99th anniversary

of Poland’s independence. Students from grades 6, II and III sang some military songs, and finally, the national anthem. Students watched a short presentation of Poland’s history.

14th November. A city guard visited our school to talk to the youngest students about their safe walking to the school. He presented road signs. Students le-arned how to find a walkway and how to pass through a street. The guard reminded students that they should wear reflectives.

17th November. Grades III and IIIa went for a walk along the traces of Józef Piłsudski in Warsaw. They started at the site of the former Vienna Train Station and finished at the Piłsudski Square.

22nd November. Six teams played floorball at Bartnicza School of Wa-rsaw. Our team was the fifth. Wete-rynaryjna was represented by: Adrian G., Eliza Z., Iza B., Piotrek G., Magda F.

22nd November. When and where did Saint Nicholas live? What were the names of the Three Kings? Students from ZTD and ZTE asked these questions at the lesson in the National Museum about Christmas. They saw paintings and sculptures about Christmas there.

24th November. Five teams played throwball in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, south-west of Warsaw. Our team was the third. Weterynaryjna was repre-sented by Magda P., Mateusz Be., Maciek L., Mateusz Br., Adrian G., Diego F. and Maciek J.

24th November was Teddy Bear Day

in our school. Younger students presented their Teddy Bears and watched films about famous Teddy Bears from cartoons and about real bears. Finally, all our Teddy Bears were jumping together.
