While my Great Great Grandpa got well, my
Great Grandma and her sister learned how to go
into the woods and find roots and other edible
plants. Later, Great Grandma would take
Grandpa on hunting trips with a big knife and
a paper sack out into the woods and bring home
the best meals you could imagine.

to visit her mother and father and raised a very
happy family. They often went to family reunions
and spent Christmas in Mississippi.
