My friends and I are going to the pool today. I'm Katie by the way. These are my BFF's Emma and Robbie.

Robbie: Do you need the sunscreen for your skin?

Emma: We both do. We have really fair comp-lexions. at least, that's what our parents say.

Katie: Don't forget the floats, snacks, flippers, and chairs, either.

Robbie: Check, check, check, and check. Especially the floats. Let's go.

Emma: Look Katie, I can flip underwater.

Katie: This is a no flip designated area. You could get hurt.

Emma: I'll stop, but I will hate it. At least my nog-gin will thank me.

All of a sudden...

Robbie: Help! A nasty slime has got me! Mama!

Emma: Oh, Mama, is more like it. That's the fourth slime this week!

Robbie: Less talking, more pulling!

I broke Robbie free of the slime's grasp. Emma threw the slime to me, and I smushed it. Hee-yah! Faster than a speeding train. Bigger than a lizard. It's Katie's foot. Oh, yeah!

On a different note, we ate spaghetti, ice-cream, and apples for lunch.

Katie: Mmm...

Robbie: Gramma's spaghetti is the best.

Emma: Okay, I'm done. Who wants to swim?

Robbie: Not me. I think I'll have nightmares about the slime. I mean yikes!

Katie: Emma and I can swim.
