This is a Social Story.  Social Stories are a researched-based intervention for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and others who have a social impairment.  They focus on one skill describing the social situation and listing positive responses. The stories are written from the reader's point of view.  They are best used by the learner reading or having it read to them, the story on a frequent basis.
