My To-Do
1.Get a world record number of friends. We’re talking like hundreds of friends!
2.Find something I have in common with other Owls. Even if I hate other Owls.
3.Make a list of hooting points to kick start conversation with fellow Owls.

With my handy to-do list I know I will make it to the Guinness Book of World Records for my amazing amount of Owl buds. HM, Where can I start with making HUNDREDS of friends? Should I just start greeting people I walk by or what? Perhaps I should start off with my epic list of hooting points.

My first hooting point will be to ask the other owls what kind of tree is their favorite to sleep in. Then that will lead to them inviting me over to their tree home and maybe even stay for dinner. Once I have dinner with some of the other owls, I bet I can figure some things out that we have in common and our friendship can grow and flourish from there.

Ok, im going to be brave and hoot to the tree to the right and see if i get a response. Hoot! Hoot! Hmmm... nothing yet. OK, I will try the tree to my left. Hoot! Hoot! Hmmm, no response. Maybe I can try flying over the field to see if someone is eating a snack. ...what was that ? “HOOT, DID SOMEONE HOOT?!” Was someone responding to my call? Is this how I make my first friend!? Ok, moment of truth. I will go to the hoot and find my new future best friend.

Hoot! Hoot! ...
Hoot! Hoot! ...
Oh no, its more than one owl!! ABORT MISSION! I REPEAT, ABORT MISSION! The list said to make one friend at a time, not two! Oh no, they see me. They are waving me over, what do I do!?
“Hoot hoot, hey you. Over there! Where you trying to say hello?” Oh no.. here we go. “Yes, hi there. Uhm...you see. I was saying hello because, well...well. I am trying to make friends. I am not the most popular of owls...

The brown Owl is just staring at me, what did i do wrong? Why aren't either of them responding?
The other two owls stare at each other before looking up to me, “We are always looking for a new friend. Would you like to have dinner with us?” I smiled, shocked at their response. “I would like that a lot.”

It may not be hundreds of friends, but at least I can start with two!
New to-do list:
1.Enjoy hooting around with my two new friends!
