Why do we have seasons?
Today at Science class, the students are learning about the four seasons for the start of their new Science project. To teach them about the seasons, Ms. Smith tells the kids the story of the Great Gelore...

In Spring, he uses his magical powers to make the flowers grow. The trees grow their leaves and the weather is warmer. Some animals, like bears wake up from their long nap, as they sleep through the winter.

During summer, the Great Gelore shines the bright sun, and makes waves in the ocean. We go outside and spend hours playing in the warm sand and swimming in the ocean.

In Fall, he turns the green leaves into different colors. Then he makes the wind stronger so that the leaves fall off. It's the time for Halloween, dressing up and going door to door for some candy.

At the end of the year, its winter. With his magic powers, he turns the weather colder and brings snow. Having fun building snowmen and snowball fights. It's the time of Christmas. Where everyone is with their families and opening presents.

This is so fun!
