John is a very, very selfish bear.

John always got whatever he wanted. Today, John just got a new scooter, and colored pencils for school.

John rode his scooter to school to show everyone what he got. He knew the perfect time, recess.

John went to class to show of all of his colored pencils. All the other bears wanted to try one.

But he simply replied, "No." All of the other bears were very sad, and went to their seats.

School went on and on and on until...

Recess!!

Everyone ran outside in a hurry, John ran and got his scooter, then started riding around.

All of the other bears came to see his scooter, and asked him to ride it. But he simply said, "No."

The bears walked away sad. John had no one to play with, so he started to ride around.
