For my World Geography class

This is Dracula. He lives in Romania, in a town called Transylvania. He lives in this big castle!

Romania is a country in Southeastern Europe but Dracula only knows about his castle. Let's help Drac learn about his country!

Romania's capital is Bucharest!

And look! That's where I live!
Their official language is Romanian, and they became a country in 1859.
That's their Parliament building in Bucharest!

That makes sense! Romania speaks Romanian!
Soccer, football as they call it, is the most popular sport in Romania.

I could play football!

Romanian food is a mix of Greek, Bulgarian, and Turkish food. Popular foods include Dolma, Cozonac, and Mici.

Looks delicious!
Pretty! But a little too sunny for my taste.

Romania's eastern border is created by the Black Sea, making really pretty beaches!

Known as the "Heart of Romania", the Carpathian Mountains are in the North.

Beautiful!
The Danube Delta is a leading tourist attraction for Romania. There is lots of untouched wilderness!

I'd take pictures of that!
